Esox Lures OÜ was born out of a student company founded in 2017 and has since grown into an Estonian brand offering handcrafted fishing lures. We are dedicated to producing high-quality and durable lures that suit both hobby anglers and experienced spinning enthusiasts. Our product range is wide and diverse, ensuring that every angler can find the perfect lure. What makes us unique is our craftsmanship and attention to detail: the shapes and patterns of our lures are developed in collaboration with Estonian anglers, with each pattern carefully hammered into the metal by hand. Our selection also includes silver-plated lures, designed and finished by a professional metal artist. Some of our lures are produced in limited quantities and carry a unique serial number. These exclusive pieces make excellent gifts or special additions to any collection.Esox Lures stands for craftsmanship, innovation, and reliability – lures built to endure the pursuit of pike, salmon, and trout.

Esox Lures is not limited to unique fishing lures alone. In the future, we plan to expand our product line with items from blacksmithing, metalwork, and leathercraft. Our goal is to diversify the fishing gear market by bringing anglers high-quality and creative solutions that combine tradition with craftsmanship.Joonatan Mäggi Joonatan Mäggi is a blacksmith and metal artist from Estonia. “Piiritletus”
Author Joonatan Mäggi: «Reins are a very powerful symbol for me. A symbol of limitation, confinement, and subjugation. Throughout history, humans have sought to impose their will on nature, animals, nations—even other people.» «The finish of the piece emphasizes the age-old desire for domination and restriction—on every scale. Both among humans and in their interactions with animals. The horse has been by humanity’s side for millennia and has contributed significantly to the great developments of civilizations. Through transportation, agriculture, and much more.»

“Kohtumine Bachiga"
Author Joonatan Mäggi: «The sculpture reflects my long-standing fascination with Bach's music, which I have intertwined with my deep passion for glowing iron. The piece encapsulates the melody of the first two measures of the second movement of the organ sonata BWV 528. Through this sculpture, I have created a new musical language using iron. The work is composed of 19 iron bars.»
